For donors · A gift that serves every Sunday

Give your church's production team the tools they've been asking for.

Gift a year of WorshipMetrics to your church. The gift goes to your church, not to us, so it works like any other charitable donation. Your church pays for the plan, and your team gets organized run-of-shows, system documentation, and a calmer Sunday morning.

A five-page PDF: how it works, the tax part in plain English, current pricing, the recommendation letter, and a page for your church's finance team — ready to print or forward.

Why this is a great gift

Most gifts get used once. This one gets used every week.

It helps every Sunday.

Volunteer AV teams are stretched thin. WorshipMetrics gives them one place for the run-of-show, gear documentation, and troubleshooting — so nobody is guessing at 8:45 a.m.

It's a one-time ask, not a monthly line item.

An annual plan covers a full year of services, special events, and holidays — with two months free built into annual billing. Nobody has to defend a subscription at every budget meeting.

It's tax-deductible when given through your church.

Gifts to your church are charitable contributions. Your gift goes to your church, not to us — see the plain-English details below.

What your gift actually does

It reaches the person in the back of the room.

In most churches, one hard-working volunteer holds the whole broadcast together — and can't step away, because everything they know lives in their head and nothing is connected. They can't hand a piece of it to anyone else, so they carry all of it, every week.

Your gift changes the shape of that job. WorshipMetrics organizes the whole system and connects it to the cloud and to the team's phones, so collaboration becomes the normal way of working: the run-of-show is shared, the documentation is written down, and helping hands can actually help — even from home.

And it creates new places to serve. When the booth has real roles with real tools, a curious teenager can be handed camera two — and the next generation gets a reason to stay involved. That's what churches build with our AV club.

How it works

Three steps, through your church's normal giving.

1

Give to your church, designated for WorshipMetrics

Paid plans open at launch, so check with us first at 910-WORSHIP or worshipmetrics.com/contact to confirm the plan and amount. Then make a gift to your church using its normal giving method — online giving, check, or cash — and note the designation: “Designated gift – WorshipMetrics subscription.”

2

Send your church the recommendation

Forward our short note (below) to your pastor, church administrator, or tech director. It explains what WorshipMetrics is, what the plan costs, and how to sign up. Your church makes the final decision on how designated funds are used.

3

Your church signs up. Your team gets started.

When paid plans open, your church reaches out and we set the annual plan up together — invoice or church card, whichever the finance team prefers. Onboarding takes about 30 minutes, and we'll help the team get the first service loaded.

The tax part, in plain English

Simple, standard, and above-board.

  • Your gift goes to your church, which is a charitable organization. Payments made directly to WorshipMetrics are a software purchase, not a donation — which is why we don't take the gift ourselves.
  • Your church will provide a written acknowledgment for gifts of $250 or more. Keep it with your tax records.
  • Designating a gift for a specific purpose (like “WorshipMetrics subscription”) is a normal practice. Your church keeps discretion over how funds are used, which is what keeps the gift deductible.
  • Starting with the 2026 tax year, there is a charitable deduction available even for people who don't itemize — so more donors than ever can benefit.

We're a software company, not tax advisors. Please confirm the details with your own tax professional or your church's finance team.

Annual plan pricing

One gift, twelve months — with two months free.

Annual billing includes two months free, so a year costs ten times the monthly price. Paid plans open at launch and these amounts could change before then, so check with us before you give.

Plan Best for Monthly price Annual gift amount
Pro Churches that want control from any browser, more storage, and AI phone support — whether or not they stream $49/mo $490
Max Churches that stream — hosted live streaming plus everything in Pro. The most popular gift $99/mo $990
Max + Sunday Assurance The everything gift — a production pro on call every single Sunday, watching over your team $598/mo $5,980

Copy-and-paste note for your church

Send this to your pastor, administrator, or tech lead.

Hi [Name],

I just made a designated gift of $[amount] to the church for a WorshipMetrics subscription. WorshipMetrics is a tool for church production teams that organizes the Sunday run-of-show, documents the AV system, and helps volunteers troubleshoot without calling someone at 8:30 on a Sunday morning.

You can see the plans at worshipmetrics.com/pricing. Paid plans open at launch, and the WorshipMetrics team sets them up directly at 910-WORSHIP or worshipmetrics.com/contact. I'd love for our team to have it for the coming year, but of course the church can use the gift however it sees best.

Thanks for all you do,

For church leaders and finance teams

If a member has gifted WorshipMetrics to your church:

  • Record the gift as a designated contribution. A suggested fund name is “Technology – WorshipMetrics” — or simply add it to your existing technology or production fund.
  • Issue your standard contribution acknowledgment (required for gifts of $250+).
  • Call 910-WORSHIP or reach us at worshipmetrics.com/contact and we'll set the annual plan up with a church payment method when paid plans open at launch — invoice or card. We'll email a receipt the church can keep for its records.
  • Questions? Reply to any email from us or call 910-WORSHIP.

FAQ

Gifting, answered.

Can I just pay WorshipMetrics directly and have it count as a donation?

No. We're a for-profit software company, so a payment to us isn't a charitable gift. Giving through your church is what makes it deductible, and it's also just cleaner for the church's books.

What if my church decides not to use it?

Designated gifts are a recommendation, not a requirement. Your church keeps discretion over the funds. In practice, churches honor the donor's intent whenever they reasonably can.

Can a business sponsor a church's subscription?

Yes. Many local businesses sponsor church ministries. Depending on how it's structured, a business may treat it as a charitable gift or as an advertising expense. Talk to your accountant.

Can I give anonymously?

Yes. Give through your church's normal anonymous giving process and send the recommendation note separately — or ask the church office to pass it along.

Does my church need to be a registered 501(c)(3)?

Churches are generally treated as tax-exempt without filing, but your church's finance team can confirm its status.

Why we built this

“We kept walking into the same church: an AV system nobody fully understood, one burned-out volunteer carrying it alone, and a youth group that had never been invited into the booth. Serving on the AV team should be functional, joyful, and full of real-world skills — for a team of any size.”

— Paul Richards, co-founder

Who your gift equips

Your gift lands with a team that answers the phone.

WorshipMetrics is a pastor, an engineer, and an AV educator who have spent their careers in church production. When your church signs up, Paul helps the team get their first service loaded — and still answers 910-WORSHIP himself.
