Luminos
Expert help, trained on
your setup — not a forum thread.
Luminos is the WorshipMetrics AI — grounded in your documented system topology, your hardware profile, and your support history. It diagnoses problems with specificity because it knows your exact signal chain, not a generic knowledge base.
Saturday night, from anywhere
“How is everything looking for Sunday?”
The question every tech director asks themselves the night before — usually with no way to answer it except driving over. Ask it from your phone instead, and something that has been watching all week answers.
How it works
It's a signal path. It just carries knowledge instead of video.
Your gear reports to Tech Manager in the booth. Tech Manager carries what it sees up to Luminos. Your church's history rides along. By the time anyone asks a question, the answer is already informed.
See it work
One ordinary question. Everything standing behind the answer.
Pick a question a real church would ask. Watch what Luminos already knows before anyone types a word — then read the answer that used it.
Tech director · Sunday, 11:04am
Volunteer · Thursday rehearsal
Pastor · the week after
Your encoder PC climbs to 88% processor load about twelve minutes into each service.
Same pattern as your recent drops. In March, pre-converting the 4K bumper to 1080p fixed it — and that file is back at 4K in this week’s plan.
Answered in chat · 4 seconds
Camera 2 last responded Thursday at 4:12pm.
It runs on the cable labeled VID-002 into switcher input 2, powered from rack switch port 7 — and that port reports no draw. Check the port first; the camera was healthy until power stopped.
Answered on the phone · before rehearsal ended
Everything he documented is still here.
34 devices, 41 labeled cable runs, and the notes from every fix he made. The three things that have failed before are on the checklist he left — and the answer that worked comes with the alert.
Two years of context · nobody had to hand it over
Why it keeps working
Volunteers move away. What they knew shouldn't.
Most churches lose their AV knowledge one departure at a time. Every fix, every label, and every hard-won answer stays with the church instead.
Two modes. One AI.
Luminos works in two distinct modes depending on what you have installed.
Mode 1 — Ministry intelligence
Available on all plans. No Tech Manager required.
Luminos reads your attendance history and service data — and answers in plain English, so leadership gets the picture without anyone building a report.
Confirmation-required, and built for the questions leadership actually asks — not data analysis.
Mode 2 — AV intelligence
Requires Tech Manager installed on your production computer.
When Tech Manager is running on your production computer, Luminos gains something no other congregation AI has — real-time visibility into your physical AV system. It knows your hardware. It watches your stream. It reads your OBS logs. And when something goes wrong, it already has the full picture before you say a word.
Why Tech Manager matters for Luminos
Context is everything.
Without Tech Manager
With Tech Manager
"I can see your system. You're running OBS 30.1 on a Dell Optiplex with an Intel i5. Your bitrate is set to 6,000 kbps but your upload speed tested at 11 Mbps this morning — that's borderline for 1080p. Your encoder CPU is also running at 78%, which suggests something else is competing with OBS. I can see Windows Update is scheduled to run on Sundays. That's likely the cause. I recommend reducing your bitrate to 4,000 kbps and disabling Windows Update during service hours. Want me to adjust your OBS bitrate right now?"
That conversation takes 30 seconds and ends with a solution. Tech Manager is what makes that possible.
What Luminos can do with Tech Manager
Diagnose problems with full context
Luminos receives a 30-minute timeline of your system's health before every support interaction. It identifies the exact moment metrics began degrading and works backward to the root cause.
Fix problems remotely
On Pro and Max, Luminos can suggest a fix and run it once you approve: adjust OBS bitrate, restart OBS or the stream, switch scenes, recall camera presets. It never changes anything without your explicit approval.
Alert your team before they notice
When Tech Manager detects a bitrate drop, a camera outage, or an encoder overload, Luminos is notified instantly. If it needs more than a one-tap restart, support opens proactively before anyone in the congregation knows something is wrong.
What Luminos knows with Tech Manager installed
Before you say a word.
Proactive support — not just reactive
Luminos doesn't wait for you to report a problem.
Weekly health digest
Every Monday, Luminos sends a plain-English summary of what ran well, the issues caught (each with a suggested fix Luminos can run once you approve it), what needs attention, and one specific recommendation to improve reliability.
Pre-service check
Flags problems 30 minutes before service, plus a ready-for-tomorrow email the evening before your first service.
Pattern detection
If the same issue occurs three or more times in 30 days, Luminos identifies the pattern and surfaces root-cause analysis before it becomes a recurring Sunday morning crisis.
The relationship between Luminos and Tech Manager
Tech Manager is the nervous system. Luminos is the brain.
Tech Manager runs on your production computer, monitors every device, and feeds continuous data to the cloud. Luminos reads that data, understands what it means, and takes action or advises your team. Together they form a support system that knows your specific hardware, watches your system continuously, and gets smarter about your building every single week.

Questions about Luminos and Tech Manager
Does Luminos work without Tech Manager?
Yes. Luminos works on all plans for ministry intelligence: attendance insights and congregation data questions. Tech Manager unlocks the AV intelligence layer: real-time monitoring, hardware-specific diagnostics, remote actions, and proactive alerts.
What computer does Tech Manager run on?
Tech Manager runs on Windows 10 or later (64-bit, including ARM). It should be installed on the production computer your AV team uses to run OBS or vMix.
Does Tech Manager need to be running during service?
Yes. Tech Manager needs to be running on the production computer during service for real-time monitoring and alerts to work. It launches automatically on startup, so as long as the production computer is on, Tech Manager is running.
Can Luminos fix things without my permission?
No. Luminos always proposes an action and waits for your confirmation before doing anything to your system. Tech Manager's Self Healing follows the same rule: when a stream or recording stops unexpectedly it offers a one-tap restart, and nothing restarts until a person taps it. Every offer and answer is logged.
Is my system data private?
Yes. Your system documentation, hardware profile, and AV health data stay in your WorshipMetrics account and are used only to support your congregation. They are not shared with other customers or used for advertising.
